The Brockville Lions Club has been in service since 1939. We serve our community while raising funds both locally and internationally for worthy causes including Hunger, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer, the Environment and Vision.
Lions are known throughout the world for their work to improve the lives of the visually impaired and prevent avoidable blindness. One such initiative is the annual Dog Guide walk. This walk raises much needed funds for the training of Dog Guides which are provided at no cost to qualified applicants. Thanks to national sponsors, such as Pet Valu, 100% of the funds raised from the Walk go directly to the Dog Guide training programs.
This year, the Dog Guide walk will take place on August 25th at Hardy Park. The Lions Club will have a booth at Dock Dogs for those who wish to learn more about the Lions, the walk, participate or donate.

A block of 10 rooms have been reserved at the Comfort Inn in Brockville for the Canadian Dock Jumping Championships from August 21, 2020 to August 24th, 2020.
The rate is $129.00 + a flat fee of $30.00 for pets (it does not matter how many dogs you have or how many nights you stay).
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ROOMS WILL BE RELEASED FROM GROUP BLOCK, and the GROUP RATE IS VALID UNTIL: July 21st, 2020.
*CANCELLATION POLICY: If a room is cancelled prior to July 7th, 2020 there is no fee, cancellation after July 7th, 2020 will result in a charge for all nights being cancelled for each reservation being cancelled.
