January 2023 Back in 2016, I just happened upon the CWC crew while at Spruce Meadows. I was fascinated by these amazing jumping dogs and their owners, that I knew it was something I wanted to try. Fast forward to summer of 2018, myself, my daughter and our 18 month old crazy American Cattle Dog drove 9 hours to our first CWC event. We had the best weekend! Everyone was super friendly and supportive. Since then we have sought out CWC to jump with. The frienships we have made over the years are priceless. Even though our 'redneck mal' isnt a big jumper, her heart and antics bring joy and laughter. CWC is an amazing organization, run by a team of professional and positive staff. Always lending a hand and support. A chance meeting many years ago has manifested into years of incredible memories and friends who have become family. Pat Stewart
December 2022 My 1st even with CWC was back in 2017 and ever since then, I was hooked! Not only are the owners incredibly nice and encouraging, the team behind CWC and the competitors are like one big family! The events are always ran smoothly and Lynn and Trevor make for awesome MC's to entertain the crowd during the jumps! Although I've moved to the Quebec city area, I always try to make it down to at least one event during the season to get my CWC fix! Danielle LaBrèche
2017 After dock diving with several other organizations, I can say that CWC is now my favourite and I look forward to jumping with you more next year! The announcers and staff at both events I attended (Turtlefest and K9 Sport Fest) were soooo nice and personable and made me feel very welcome. Thanks for having such a great organization! Sincerely, Victoria Davis
JULY 31, 2017 DOCK DOG DIVING PHOTOGRAPHY Canine Watersports Canada – From a photographer’s and spectator’s view I had the great pleasure of working with Canine Watersports Canada, (CWC) in Belleville and at K9 Sport Fest this summer and I have to say, this team is the greatest canine sporting group I have worked with in a long time. I had met Karen and Mark Larocque and found them both to be super nice. I did not have the opportunity to meet anyone else and was looking forward to seeing how these competitions go. Registration filled up super quickly so I was convinced that somehow everything would be fun! Never did I expect that 3 days of continuous clicking of the camera would be so enjoyable and stress free. These guys travel near and far for participants to strut their stuff and have fun. The schedule is grueling and to date I have never heard one compliant from anyone affiliated with CWC The crew, who all have dogs that dive, are skilled at what they do; from setting up the dock and pool, registration to selling T-shirts, to announcing each and every jump. At this event everyone who participates is there for their dogs to have fun. It is not about qualifying scores, nor is it about awards. At CWC it is all about having fun. Thank you CWC for inviting me to join you as your photographer. I really did enjoy myself! One day, I may even have a dock diving mutt. Lindy Martin Photography - http://www.lindymartin.com/
I saw your team at the Fort Erie Friendship Festival and I wanted to let your organization know how fantastic I thought the your event was both days that I attended. Your MC was great with the way she was able to improvise thru all situations and make the show very personal and entertaining. I watched as one of your team worked with the owner of young lab as the pup learned to retrieve in the water off the ramp, and over a very short period of time jump, happily from the dock.
Having worked a very short time in the canine community I have attended several dock jumping shows and have been very distressed over how jacked-up the performing dogs were, not just on the dock but in their crates during rest time. What I saw with your team, were calm, happy dogs being patiently encouraged, praised for all accomplishments and enjoying the sport. What I heard from your MC and your team was an understanding that the dogs will do what they can, when they can and the goal is to have fun. I also very much enjoyed the participation of attendees with their dogs. I was so very impressed. I will be passing on my comments to the Friendship Festival organizers and do hope you will be at the festival next year. My Wheaten loves the water, but doesn't quite grasp the concept of swimming. LOL. Congratulations on a wonderful team. Linda.
We Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we have at CWC events. Not only are your events very professionally run, which is awesome, your staff is incredible and they work very hard to make sure we are all having a great time. There is absolutely no pressure as a competitor! If we grab the wrong dog or somehow are late for our jump you are so accommodating!! For this I really thank you! You also make us feel so welcome at the events (even though we are 6 hours away from Massachusetts)! Team “Shades of Blonde” have already marked our calendars for 2017!!! Thank You. ~ Lynn McAvoy, Pete and Sue Persson, Jordan Young, Fenway, Tilly, Tuckered and their coach Axel, Team “Shades of Blonde”, Massachusetts, New York
I approached Canine Watersports Canada because I was looking to get my water crazy dog involved in a sporting activity. I reached out to Karen Larocque and she was more than helpful in explaining how the sport of dock diving works. I have been a participant with CWC for 2 years now and everyone involved with the organization are fun, friendly, helpful and welcoming people. It does not matter whether your dog jumps 1 foot or 25 feet, the dog and the handler receive the same amount of support. It's all about the dogs. Win or lose, everyone always has a great time. ~ Donna Banks

January 2023 Back2Raw It’s been great working with Canine Watersports the past 2 years, Karen is such a kind and caring person it makes this such an easy partnership. It’s allowed us to get our name out in areas where we are working to expand into with retail partnerships but it's also allowed us to grow our social media presence. We love seeing dogs living their best lives through enrichment, food and activities which is why this was just a great opportunity for us.
January 2023 - Arf'ul Good 'Working with the team at Canine Watersports Canada for the past two years has been a joy. These turbulent past two years have been difficult for all of us. Yet, through all of this the CWC team have been very professional and have found innovative ways to engage with their customers. Due to health concerns at Arf'ul Good we have had to discontinue our sponsorship and say goodbye to the team at CWC for this year. However, we hope to reconnect with this energetic group soon.

The event, which ran for 5 consecutive days during the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’, was well managed and entertaining for all ages. The crowds enjoyed the high energy spectacle of dogs performing, including jumping off a dock into a huge tank of water. The Canine Watersports staff were professional in their set-up, administration and delivery of the entertainment segment. STRUT FOR STRAYS - As a charitable organization that rescues stray cats and dogs we work diligently year round to raise money to help our furry friends. We host a Pet Festival each June and for the last 3 years we have enlisted “Canine Watersports Canada” as our feature attraction. What an amazing group of entertainers! From day 1 Karen worked to accommodate our needs with regards to pricing and dates. I was equally impressed with their performance on the day of each event. Each year their performances have been fun, engaging and interactive. Our numbers attending the Festival significantly increased once they became our feature attraction. What is even more impressive is that at the end of each event they donated back a portion to our charity. www.fixedfurlife.com
