Elite Dog was originally only offered at the Championships. It was created to recognize the dog who can do it all!! It is based entirely on how well your dog does in ALL 4 CanineCK Watersports Canada disciplines. Points are awarded according to your placement in Jump, Lure, Toss and Grab. In order to keep things fair, 1st place Novice Dog, (or any division) will earn the same points as 1st place Top Dog.. ie, Doug placed ... 2nd in Master Jump so he earned 10 in Jump, 1st in Novice Grab so he earned 15 points 3rd in Toss so 5 points he did not place in Luire so 0 points has a total of 30 points YOUR DOG MUST DO ALL 4 DISCIIPLIINES AND YOU MUST CHECL ELITE DOG ON THE REISTRATION FORM! Those points are tallied at the end of the event to determine the Canine Watersports Canada Elite Dog! You must compete in Elite Dog at least once (successfully and earn a title) to compete in Elite Champion at the Championships.
